Antonio Delgado, Dean of Engineering, Technology and Design at Miami Dade College, has accumulated over ten years of experience in technology program management in the United States, Panama, Cuba and the United Kingdom. Antonio is committed to the growth of South Florida´s technology ecosystem, and passionate about youth empowerment and local talent creation. As a Dean of the largest undergraduate institution in the country, he has focused in the development of programs in emerging technology fields like Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, IoT, Cloud Computing and AR/VR. Previously, he managed technology programs at The Idea Center, including his teaching role within the McKinsey Social Initiative Generation IT program. He obtained his Bachelor Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute in Havana, Cuba, and a Master of Science in Computer Networks from the University of Westminster in London, UK.
